Brian Rogers is the manager of the T. Row Price Equity Income fund. Mr. Rogers has been with T. Rowe Price since 1981, after getting undergraduate and MBA degrees from Harvard University.
According to the Fund’s prospectus, the fund’s investment aim is:
“to provide substantial dividend income as well as long-term capital appreciation through investments in common stocks of established companies.”
They go on to say that the fund will invest at least 80% of its capital in common stocks, with 65% of that money going to well-established companies that pay above average dividends and have a good chance of both increasing their dividend and the stock price.
Current Returns:
1-Year: 24.83%
3-Year: 16.20%
5-Year: 10.69%
In Management's latest outlook, put out at the end 2006, they explained their point of view that US growth will slow and though they do not see much downside risk to stocks, they do believe it will be harder to make money going forward.
