I decided I needed to start understanding the stock market so I satarted a sharebuilder account Feb 27 2007

-
AA
Alcoa Inc - $13.34
- +3.49%
- $13.13
light materials for auto industry to meet new CAFE standards. exploits & develops geothermal energy, been around a long time, dividends

-
HRP
Hrpt Properties - $7.17
- 0.00%
- $N/A
another spam tip but I looked at the company and it seemed solid and $improving and the dividend per share is pretty good considering the low cost of the shares. I was looking to exploit the lows happening in real estate and i was heavy in energy so looking to diversify

-
PBW
Ps Wilderhill Enr - $10.18
- +2.31%
- $9.99
I was searching for sustainable energy and this fund got mentioned a lot so I decided to let them do the work for me

-
RSP
Rydex Etf Rdx S&p - $38.26
- +2.66%
- $37.57
Just wanted to compare the results of an equal weight S&P fund vs SPY that was recommended to me by Sharebuilder when I started my adventure

-
SPY
S&p Dep Receipts - $109.57
- +2.28%
- $107.95
one of the two ETFs initially recmmended to me when I opened my Sharebuilder account at the end of Feb 2007,the other was AGG. after a couple of months I noticed that the "most requested" funds on Sharebuilder were always AGG & SPY so I started wondering how "Custom" the recommendation was and since AGG was always down some I took that money and did other things

-
WMI
