If prices rise, they'll benefit double -- from selling a higher-priced product and selling renewable energy to those who convert. PR problems will not persist. They are one of the most socially-responsible giants.

Big breakthroughs are on the way. Would you like a green-eyed child? How about a child who is "vaccinated" from hereditary disease in the womb? How about a child who is born HIV-resistant? Who's going to develop the first genotype-based allergy test -- telling you what your kid should and shouldn't eat, which medicines may hurt him/her? Would you buy it? Which firm will patent a system to "grow" purified blood in a Petri dish then sell it to hospitals worldwide, making blood drives useless, saving millions of lives? The applications are endless. The value-proposition? Massive.

Shock-absorbant retailer. The rich replace clothes and shoes faster, and they are as apt as any to keep up-to-speed with fashion trends -- regardless of cost.

Cheap energy stock. Efficient supplier with solid returns trajectory.
