"Implied volatility on the Financial Select Sector SPDR (ticker: XLF) that expires in 12 months is at about 30%, just below its peak value of 35%. Citigroup's derivatives strategists like selling 12-month XLF puts to get long financials. After all, the pessimism toward the sector is near clinical."

You might want to get some foam blown
into your walls..maybe some thermal
paned windows.

My lovely 'Humble' abode was built in
1946..I'm certain they only alloted just
a few sheets of insulation ..lol
Oh,..the garage was designated office
space.. at the time it was built.
Guess where they installed all the
insulation??
In the winter we just move into the
garage..lol

Darn it.. those are some painful... ugly
bills!
It would be very unpleasant to tell my
children that 'Santa' payed the gas bill
for us rather than delivering
electronics wrapped up and placed under
the tree..
'MERRY CHRISTMAS'.. my toasty warm
little whipper snapper...lol
