"Emerson Electric (ticker: EMR) hiked its common dividend 14% Tuesday.The new quarterly will be 30 cents a share, up from 26.25 cents. Disbursement is slated for Dec. 10 to investors on the books Nov. 16. The stock goes ex-dividend Nov. 14. This is the 51st consecutive year in which the 117-year-old St. Louis company has boosted payouts. They've been ongoing since 1947."

"For the second year in a row, Milwaukee-based Koss is distributing a $1 special dividend. (Regular quarterly payouts, which were initiated in 2001, are currently 13 cents a share.) Investors of record Nov. 16 will receive the bonus Dec. 17. Ex-date: Nov. 14. The stock trades on Nasdaq at about 20 and yields 2.67%. The Koss family owns more than 75% of the 51-year-old company."
