"Dominion Resources hiked its common dividend 11% Monday. The new quarterly will be 79 cents a share, up from 71 cents, giving the stock -- a Dow Jones utilities component -- a 3.52% yield. Dominion (ticker: D) will also split its shares, 2-for-1. The 98-year-old company has paid dividends without interruption since 1925."
