From Barron's 7-30-07: "Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I said that it's reviewing its options regarding the proposed merger of Salton and Harbinger-owned APN Holding. Harbinger said that its choices include terminating the merger agreement on or after July 31, proposing amendments to the deal's terms, proposing alternate transactions to Salton or taking no action. Harbinger believes that the merger won't be completed by that deadline because Salton hasn't mailed its shareholders a notice of a meeting to approve the merger. Harbinger currently holds 3,348,667 shares (18.59% of the total outstanding)."

A. do yourself a big favor and read cramers
books first. no one should be in the
market without some knowledge of how it
works. also, the market may well be over
valued. no one knows. finally, if you
just have to ignore this advice, stay
way away from 2x or 3x etf's. good luck,
