This portfolio is varying levels of speculation built around two solid blue chip stocks (TM & CSCO).

-
MA
Mastercard Inc - $242.19
- +2.23%
- $238.50
Mastercard - this is not a financial company as much as a play on purchases (MA gets a percentage of EACH credit card transaction) with a credit card. Expansion into China as more credit cards are used and sponsor of 2008 World Cup. A lot of people who bought during the IPO ($40) are already out, however this still has a huge upside potential. Some have called this the next Google. While that is premature, there has been a huge amount of institutional buying. Expect blowout earnings on Feb. 9th. This will be at least $120 by end of 1st quarter.

-
CSCO
Cisco Systems - $23.99
- +0.71%
- $23.90
Has control of tech sector with networks, internet, VOIP. John Chambers produces consistent growth every quarter. While suit with AAPL may produce negative press, will not affect the price of stock. Expect blowout earnings on Feb. 6th. As long as consistent growth and good management continues this is the king of the block for this sector. Rumors are $44 - $47 by end of 1st quarter 07. Huge institutional accumulation over past two months.

-
MTU
Mitsubishi Ufj Fi - $5.53
- +2.41%
- $5.43
Recovering Japanese economic play. One of largest banks in Japan. With economy on the rise profits are expected to increase between 10 - 15%. I have found this has been a slow climber, although as economy increases you will see larger gains. $17 by end of '07.

-
TM
Toyota Mtr Cp Ads - $79.12
- +1.23%
- $77.70
Is it necessary to really explain. Continued growth rate and now no.2 automotive company. Taking market shares of trucks away from Ford and will be prominent company in U.S. in next 5 years. This is a true blue chipper. This company will ALWAYS make money. Put some in your IRA and check back in 20 years.

-
MC
Lvmh Moet Henness - $0.00
- 0.00%
- $N/A
Matsushita Electric - A.K.A. Panasonic. More speculative. At this point strictly a play on LCD and Plasma t.v. Price coming down on t.v.'s and sales are steadily increasing. 4th quarter earnings will be terrific considering LCD and Plasma t.v.'s were the #1 large ticket item bought this past christmas. HINT: This stock seems to be directly correlated with BBY in terms of the stock moving.

-
DSCO
Discovery Laborat - $0.81
- 0.00%
- $0.818
100% speculative - buy at your own risk. This is a play on FDA approval of Surfaxin used for various respiratory symptoms. NO TIME LINE ON FDA APPROVAL. Positive results could get $10 or higher, negative results could get $1 or less.

-
TWX
Time Warner Inc N - $31.64
- +2.03%
- $31.05
Turnaround story. Making strong comeback in cable television, IP, and phone service.
