My goals for these funds are to contribute the profits from trading individual stocks as a hobby.

Oppenheimer's Gold and Special Metals Fund. I chose this fund to hedge against market volitility. It probably wont grow much, unless the Dow takes a dive, then it should show some great gains.

Oppenheimer's International Diversified Fund. Some of Oppenheimer's best performing funds have a $50,000 minimum deposit requirement. Since I dont have that much to deposit, I choose this fund. OIDAX is an international equity fund, whose top holdings are other Oppenheimer funds that have the $50,000 minimums. I thought OIDAX would be a way to get the bigger funds performance with a minimal investment.
