Q: What other companies do you expect to benefit? A: Another company we own that is also a play on Internet usage and the proliferation of video content is Akamai Technologies [AKAM]. It's been a bit out of favor of late but it put up a really good quarter recently, even though there was some gross-margin erosion because of pricing issues.

Q: Beyond Internet plays, what do you like? A: Research In Motion [RIMM] has been a huge name and it could get bigger. RIMM has only 1% of the worldwide handset market. Everybody on Wall Street knows BlackBerry; it has a strong brand name, and smart phones are gaining ground in the consumer market, and consumers typically replace their phones every two years on average.

Q: What else do you like? A: Amazon.com [AMZN]. Amazon is the e-commerce play, the Wal-Mart of the Internet.

Q: Any areas outside of technology that you're finding growth? A: Infrastructure, construction and engineering. The company we like the most right now in the large-cap arena is McDermott [MDR], which is a leader in marine construction for the oil and gas industry

Q: Do you own any biotechs? A: There is Gilead Sciences [GILD], a big biotech company that has the best HIV franchise out there and great operating leverage.

Q: That doesn't sound like huge growth. A: They've got a new vaccine against sexually transmitted disease in Gardasil and a drug to help control Type 2 diabetes in Januvia. It's a fairly strong pipeline at the same time operating margins are expanding. This is one of those nice quiet names with great international exposure at a time when the dollar is weak.

Q: In the large-cap growth arena, where in particular are you seeing strength? A: If any of the money that's been flowing into international funds starts to come back to the States, which it will eventually, it will go to big recognizable and scalable brand names such as Cisco.
