With the AW / Republic merger its time to look at the niche trash stocks that might get consolidated

-
ECOL
American Ecology - $16.23
- -2.05%
- $16.36
American Ecology has been cleaning up radioactive waste for over 50 years. The company recently got licensed to do on-site waste disposal instead of bottling up all the nuclear waste and shipping it elsewhere to dispose of. This will make it literally the "SBUX of nuclear waste". At 11x EBITDA I think its a good value play as well as a potential consolidation play.

SRCL
Stericycle - $54.13
- -1.85%
- $53.66
Medical waste. A play on a growing global economy as well as the aging baby boomer population. They not only dispose of the needles, etc at hospitals but they also handle from beginning to end drug recalls for pharmaceutical companies. A great play on an increasingly safety-conscious FDA

-
CPRT
Copart - $32.20
- -1.44%
- $32.01
This stock continues to innovate in the field of wrecked cars. Their latest endeavor is to set up an online exchange for used cars. Trades for 14x EBITDA despite 50% rev growth.
