My stock picking attempt.

-
PCP
Precision Castpar - $103.68
- -1.51%
- $105.35
My aerospace play. Looks like a faster mover than BA and inline with BEAV. They sell to all airplane manufactures as well as turbine compaines. Conf calls have been encouraging as well.

-
CE
Celanese Corporat - $29.76
- 0.00%
- $N/A
My materials sector selection. Yeah, it's not as sexy as the companies that dig up the earth and turn it into a shiny metal. The stock has had a good move since I picked it up and seems to get upgrades.

-
BNI
Burlingtn N Sante - $98.30
- +0.04%
- $98.23
I love the rails and bought this one ahead of earnings based on the UNP quarter. BNI took a one time hit on some enviro cleanups and went down. Bummer ... but the rails are a thriving biz and will continue. BNI has the best west coast ports to the Midwest / Chicago route and sees mucho China biz.

-
GLBL
Global Industries - $5.87
- -2.00%
- $5.91
GLBL is my combo infrastructure / energy choice. They do offshore buidout / teardown and undersea pipeline work (and other stuff too). Contracts in the Mid East, Africa, Gulf of Mexico, etc

-
EMC
E M C Cp - $16.83
- +0.48%
- $16.64
Just added this one (7/13/07) based on Cramer's talk, the buzz over VMware, and the market move to tech. I didn't take anything off the table during their run in the fall of 2007 and now they are down with all the other tech :-(.

-
NVTL
Novatel Wireless - $8.38
- -3.01%
- $8.69
3G wireless data is terrific and I believe the CDMA tech is best. Expect business to migrate to this over buying telephone lines. A market analyist killed this whole group with a negative note about future prospects.

-
GRMN
Garmin Ltd. - $29.88
- -3.64%
- $31.04
Agree that GPS in car and the emerging live traffic info is a nice growth market. It has taken years to get going but it appears we now have a decent base and expanding. Competition has come knocking and it's looking like I will be taking some lumps with this one.

-
NVDA
Nvidia Corporatio - $13.06
- +2.11%
- $12.85
My pick in the semiconductor sector. Most devices need graphics cards and they are the best. They also tend to deliver good news on the conference calls but semis are so volitile.

He has not indicated a preference for
