MSN Money rates stocks from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest score."The Top-10 picks list is created by first selecting all stocks with ratings of 8, 9 or 10, and then shortening that list to include only stocks with average daily trading volume of at least 50,000 shares. Those stocks are then ranked based on three characteristics: market capitalization, sector membership and whether they are growth or value stocks. Stocks that receive high marks in all three categories (meaning the market currently favors those characteristics), are given higher rankings. "
