Mad Money Wall Street Contrarian Plays

Description:

In Jim's book "Mad Money", he states that a strategy he likes to pursue is to do the opposite of what the Wall Street analysts are doing, specifically if a stock is moving in the opposite direction of the analysts. For instance, if all the analysts have a "Sell" rating on a stock, but the stock is up 50% off of its lows, then it’s a good time to buy. How come? As Jim says in the book, "[the analysts] are bad at admitting mistakes." Once they are proven wrong, "[they will] hide their shame for getting it wrong." And this is how he games the moment when analysts start upgrading.

Here are 10 stocks that fit this criteria:

At least 10% of Analysts have a Sell rating
Stock is more than 50% off its 52 week low
Stock sells for less than 12x cash flow
