CRYP 1Q	Cryptologic 1st quarter results clearly disappointed investors. The issue is that CRYP's previous revenue guidance had included a one-time revision item, but did not previouly note this. The return of online gambling?	Filed under: Law, Politics Poker fans rejoice! House Financial Services Committee Chairman, Barney Frank, introduced a bill on Thursday that would allow Americans to gamble online once again. The bill would allow online gambling companies to apply for licenses to accept bets from U.S. citizens. More $$ rich companies	We did a post a few months ago (Oct. 2006) about Portalplayer and Cryptologic, the theme being companies which have large stashes of cash on their balance sheets. In such cases, by stripping out the cash, you can reveal businesses which are being drastically undervalued by the market.Portalplayer was selling for $11 at the time and had $7.63 in cash. CRYP	Cryptologic is one of the best risk/rewards I know of.I mentioned them in my $$ rich companies several weeks ago. CRYP makes and operates software for internet gambling sites. The stock took a hit when the U.S. banned online gambling.CRYP would have gotten 30% of its revenue from the U.S. this year. That revenue is completely gone. $$ rich companies	Some of my favorite value plays are cash rich companies. Often the business has various degrees of uncertainty (as with most value situations), but the co has little or no debt and a huge cash hoard.Knight Capital was such a play about a year ago. The company is comprised of three divisions1) Global Equity, a market maker and trading execution firm. This has been Knights primary business historically.
