Disappointing Pricing for China Nuokang’s IPO	China Nuokang Bio-Pharmaceutical (NSDQ: NKBP) priced its IPO at $9, which was slightly below the expected range of $10-$12. When the shares began trading Thursday, they fell further, dropping 56 cents to $8.44, a loss of about 6%. China Sky One to Sell Diagnostic Kits in Southeast Asia	China Sky One Medical (NSDQ: CSKI) has signed up Guangdong Mediacy Kind Medical Devices Industry Service Company to be its exclusive sales agent in Southeast Asia for two of the company’s diagnostic kits: AMI Diagnostic Kit, used to diagnose myocardial infarction, and Human Urinary Albumin Elisa Kit, which diagnoses early acute kidney disease. PPD Claims to Be the 'CRO of Choice in China'	In reporting that it has closed its acquisition of BioDuro, PPD, Inc. (NSDQ: PPDI) announced the acquisition cost - $77 million. The price was not previously released, nor has PPD disclosed the annual revenues of privately held BioDuro.PPD did say that, post-acquisition, it has nearly 1,000 employees in China. PPD Continues Rapid China Growth with Another CRO Acquisition	PPD, Inc. (NSDQ: PPDI) is quickly building up its China-based CRO capability. The company announced it will acquire BioDuro LLC, a CRO based in Beijing whose 660 employees focus on drug discovery (pre-clinical) services. Sinovac’s Q3 Soars	Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (NSDQ: SVA) announced it has won a $3 million contract to supply its hepatitis A vaccine, Healive, to the Shanghai government. Sinovac said five companies vied for the contract, but Sinovac was chosen the sole supplier. Sinovac will supply Healive to Shanghai over the next twelve months.
