Juniper: U.S. Carrier Demand Softening, Stifel Says	Juniper Networks (JNPR) is seeing some slowing of its U.S. carrier business, according to Stifel Nicolaus analyst Sanjiv Wadhwani. Foundry: S&P Cuts Rating To Sell From Hold	Standard & Poor’s telecom equipment analyst Ari Bensinger today cut his rating on Foundry Networks (FDRY) to Sell from Hold. Former Cisco Exec Giancarlo Named CEO At Avaya	Charlie Giancarlo, once the presumed heir apparent to Cisco (CSCO) CEO John Chambers, earlier this week was named interim CEO at Avaya. Once a public company, Avaya in 2007 was acquired by TPG and Silver Lake Partners for $8.2 billion. Giancarlo left Cisco in December to become a partner at Silver Lake.
