Unfortunately it also lowered its sales targets on weakening telecom equipment orders fvrom telecomunication and data carrier operators. Guidance at Ciena Tanks (CIEN)	Shares of Ciena Corp. (NASDAQ: CIEN) are trading down 17% pre-market and this is going to be one of the more active stocks on NASDAQ: today. The earnings were fine, but guidance is really sucking wind. ADC Telecom Chops ‘08 Guidance; Stock Off Sharply	ADC Telecommmunications (ADCT) this afternoon reduced guidance for its October 2008 fiscal year, sending the stock sharply lower in after-hours trading. ADC expects Q3 sales to be down 3%-5% from Q2, with fourth quarter sales flat with Q3. ADC said it now sees profits for the full year of 18-26 cents a share, down from previous guidance of 31-39 cents. ADC Telecom FY Q2 Beats; Raises ‘08 Guidance	ADC Telecommunications (ADCT) reported revenue for its fiscal second quarter ended May 2 of $403 million, well ahead of the Street consensus of $384.8 million.
