Tech Stock Bollinger Band Analysis, January, 2009

Description:

In my article, Trade Microsoft Using Bollinger Bands, at Stockpickr Articles, I showed how to spot upside and downside breakouts using Bollinger bands.

Here, I look at activity in 10 tech stocks from December 29, 2008 through January 28, 2009, looking for the upside and downside breakouts and volatility squeezes I describe in the article. I used the standard 20 period moving average as the middle band, with 2 standard deviations defining the upper and lower bands.
