New stock investor. I don't have a lot of money in my stock account, so I am building my diversity in small lots...example...I own 12 shares of GSF, 25 shares of CVs, 40 shares of ECOL and 100 shares of BQI as a spec. Not a ton of cash, but I have seen @ 9% positive returns YTD. Not as good as my 401 or my Muni's but not too bad for a newbie, considering many bonehead mistakes early in the year.
