Cramer's Big Cap Brokers

Description:

From 6-4-07:

"The appetite for subprime turned out to be pretty darned big. This morning Accredited Home Lenders (LEND) sold out for $15.10 a share. Three months ago, this stock traded at $3. OK, put aside that one year ago it traded at $58 -- that was the heyday of subprime and a real battle with the shorts...This kind of transaction, with an outfit called Lone Star, shows you the demand for this kind of capacity. To me it says that you should think about the brokers again. Many of the brokers have been severely punished because of their association with just the type of business that Lone Star just bought."
