It's a mad, mad world. Form will continue to take precedence over substance. The economic policy of the US government will continue to be do whatever brings in political contributions or votes, preferably both. Inflation (real inflation not the government core formula) will continue to escalate, the dollar will continue to lose its role as the world's currency, energy costs will continue to rise, and housing is just plain fucked.
