Barron's The Stricking Price Put Options Strategy

Description:

This portfolio makes up a list of names that Goldman Sachs recommends selling puts on to lower the cost of acquiring stakes in names money managers favor.

Options prices (essentially, implied volatility) are elevated for stocks here and abroad. Selling puts that expire in six months and are 5% out-of-the-money generates about 30% more, on average, than a similar trade would have two months ago, or at this time last year.
