Cruel Tech Summer

Description:

From Barron's 4/23/07

"It wasn't a great week for big tech, except for Google (ticker: GOOG). And the picture emerging for mid-summer looks bleaker than usual for that historically slow season...While some see pent-up corporate demand in hardware and software -- and, heaven knows, many companies have ample cash -- there's little evidence that they intend to part with their cold cabbage soon. At best, enterprise tech sales aren't likely to rev up before the fourth quarter."
