• Q: I think the reason why traffic has died on the site is the content that it
  posted isnt really credible. There arent any real questions to get the thought
  process going. You guys are just posting facts, we need questions so we can take
  a step forward and look to the future of what that market is thinking.
  
  If you really want to increase traffic, we need better content just like
  thestreet.com. I dont go to that site anymore since content isnt there.

• A: I am not sure why it has died, I know I had left it...I started my daily trivia to try and
  bring back people to Answers. Same goes for my Trading Diary. I have started a forum that
  the person in charge of Stockpickr at THE STREET should be reading, I started it when she
  asked me who she should talk to, to get feedback on the site. I originally just gave up
  trying to fight...but I love this place too much to see it just die. Good Q. more

• A: tech trade will be slow on the recovery. china develops products that probably arent
  labeled good quality since people think products from there are cheaply made. they'd
  rather go american. eventually they'll make products that americans will consume. more

• Q: what can I say about thestreet.com website.... I used to go here first for my
  news since they sent me emails everyday, even on the weekends....
  
  I dont know what happened to the site but the quality and content of the site
  isnt quite the same....
  
  Does anyone know what happened??? I think with less videos, articles, and no
  emails seems they layed some people off since I heard James Altucher isnt on the
  site anymore.... maybe he is only contributing on realmoney!!!

• A: I feel like a major part of what is wrong with TheStreet.com (the flagship site, not this
  one) is just a flat out shortage of content. There ARE good things on it, but not NEARLY
  enough. In fact, recently there was an interview with Rupert Murdoch that was EVERYWHERE
  on investment sites and whatnot. But that was one of the most widely circulated bits of
  content from the site. I always felt like TSC had the potential to fill the niche of the
  web savvy investor more so than most sites (i.e. Reuters, CNBC, WSJ), but it never stepped
  up to the plate. The company is run so passively it saddens me (as a site sifter and a
  stockholder).
  
  Instead of this last bunch of layoffs the company should have taken advantage of its cash
  and started to grab up a slew of great investment writers/bloggers/journalists and look in
  to making some WORTHY acquisitions (promotions.com WTF?)
  
  But that's just me. I'm 20 and a broke college student who does comedy. What do I know
  about running a company? more

• Q: how do you guys think Google's new OS with fare against Windows 7?? I think with
  Windows 7 coming out in a couple of months, it wont hurt MSFT for years to
  come..... I think Google needs a team of developers to drive growth away from
  Windows 7 and XP users... people have shown they dont want to change operating
  systems easily and it'll take a long time for Google to even scratch the the
  surface...

• A: The market's in an ever tighter trading range that simply hasn't resolved. More people, if
  numbers of opinions count, expect a test at 875-880 before a bounce, not knowing if that
  bounce will be sustainable.

• A: It's the Dollar...do I win the Rice or Roni?? We are at 50% retrace on the Eur/USD..if
  dollar rallies up...commodities will pull back and we don't do so good....on the other
  hand if the USD hasn't bottom then we should continue to rally...yeah! but China and
  everyone will probably get together to make a global currency cuz they can't trust
  ours...which is not so good. more
