Does anyone have any "guess" on what Obama might do as far as a "tax rebate" or
stimulus or "sending me a check!!!" I could really use the money. In all honesty
here, is it likely that this will happen? If so, when? ... I know he is focusing
on the infastructure and schools and roads and all and I am following that he
may tax dividends a little more but......I am really curious about the chances
of getting a "check" in the mail. I am in sales so this type of stimulus is
great for me in many ways. The last stimulus check, I noticed a lot of people
put them under the mattress....hopefully there will be another one. I feel Obama
is overall well liked and people are looking forward to change so a stimulus
check could be great, or better than the last one, since people will have a
better outlook on the future. -

A: The facts, as available, are here. The tax issue is not decided as the economy is
deteriorating pretty rapidly - even in the days from the election to inauguration. The
Santa rally felt good ...

Hello Everyone. Is anyone in Great Wolf Lodge right now? I watched it go from
$12 last year to .61 cents then recently .61 to $3.00 in a week. I caught the
wave and bought at $2 and sold at 2.90, which I am thrilled about!!! There is
not much news on the stock. I have read about a loan that has been extended but
I know travel is down.
Any input on this one would be appreciated. I visited the one in the Poconos, PA
and LOVED it. It is a great concept! I wish the business the best. I have an
order to buy back if it goes to $2.00 again...so we will see. Happy New Year! -

New Question: Happy Holiday everyone. I hope next year is a better one for all of
us
If anyone wants to get a $25 sign on bonus for sharebuilder please email me or
post a response to this and I'll send you the invite. It is a promotion they are
doing for the holidays and $25 bucks is better than nothing.
It makes a good gift too.
I have my sons signed up. One son loves to buy Disney and the Other Hershey. It
is important to get them interested when they are young!

New Question: Some of my dividend plays right now are POM and WL. I have owned
these and consistently been buying for about 3 years. The yields are at the
highest I have seen them.
POM is involved in a local offshore wind power operation and I think this is a
good play for long term.
Is anyone else in Wl or POM? I keep re-investing my dividends but at these high
levels the money sounds good!! -

- Q:
Has anyone started buying stocks based on Obama's plan to upgrade roads and
infrastructure?
I watched Jim's segment on this. I saw the huge pops on some of the stocks. Is
there an infrastructure ETF that anyone can clue me in on? I would like to cover
a few of these with little risk over the long term...I have enough risky bets
right now! Ha-ha. -

A: You needed to be in names like FWLT, CBI, CX, FLR, CAT in anticipation of Obama's master
plan. Now is the time to get out. This plan is more of the same empty rhetoric that some
how convinced the country to vote for him. Our politicians will not fix our problems.
They can't do anything right. They are some of the dumbest people in the country, imo. more - Post your own answer

New Question: Can I get an opinion on WOLF? Great WOlf Lodge is low low
low...this stock has growth and value right now. Am I missing something? It is
$1.40....44 Million mkt cap. These hotels and water parks are beautiful. At this
value as a buy and hold...isn't the real estate itself worth more than $44 mill?
If it goes under $1.00 to .75 i am buying 2000 shares to get my feet wet....get
it (waterpark) Thanks! -

I asked about BC a few days ago...planned on buying and actually did today w/ an
auto invest from my online broker. . . since i asked about the stock they went
from $8 to about $4...so of course i know i am in for a ride, I am buying at a
low, and hopefully it was oversold from a downgrade yesterday.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is w/ bc right now. There is talk that the
interest on their loans may go up b/c of risk of default. Is that really worth
half the stock price? They are down from $22 to $4. Thanks for the input. -

A: They make boats! Boston Whalers, Hateras Yachts and some others. They just closed one of
their facilities in Washington. If you presume that a recession is looming, are people
going to be buying boats? Its bowling, life fitness and billiards divisions are too small
to have much effect, even though they helped a little this past year. Here are some
things to think about...
Boat sales in the US have been on the decline; sales outside the US will also slow as the
dollar rebounds; BC is obligated to buy back boats from its dealers if they default and
they are involved in the financing of their boats to customers and dealers while the
credit business is well, shall we say, difficult. While I think you may be in at a good
price with a good yield, if it is sustainable; I just don't see any good news in the boat
business. more - Post your own answer

Hi Friends,
I found a book today that was the 100 best stocks to buy this year from 1988. I
was flipping through it and then checking the stocks on yahoo to see changes and
stumbled upon BC, Brunswick Corp (Number 8, in 1988!). I have never come across
this one. I know the company, and I love conglomerates like this so I am looking
to buy some. I always enjoy opinions from this site though. Anyone own or
object to BC? Thank You, and best wished to everyone in these awful times! -
