  skf jan 150 call sell
  
  I was hoping it wouldget assigned when skf becomes $150. But it did not assign.
  This is the first time I did someting complex like this. can u pls suggest what
  the scenarios are..

• A: Cover that 150 call and hold the Jan 120 call on any rally in the market. I believe that
  the SKF will hit 220 before we stop this massive selling. Don't write call options unless
  you understand the risk associated with this. You are okay here but get out of that short
  position in the 150 call. The SKF may sell off a bit but should reach 220 as I mentioned
  before. I don't know the price of the premium when you entered but you are probably still
  slightly ahead right now. more

• A: Skf is more of a short-term trading vehicle, not for investing, usually you are using it
  to hedge a long term position. I bought some at the close on friday to protect one of my
  positions. more

• Q: Is money safe in the banks and brokerge accounts? They say it is insured upto
  $100k. But my question is, if banks/brokerages invest it in the money market
  funds, is it still covered by FDIC? how does it work? In case the bank fails,
  wil FDIC surely return our money or they may also fail us?

• A: They had a good 3rd quarter. There is a lot of concern about dilution. This is one
  volatile stock. One analyst described it as "more volatile than Lou Pinella on
  steroids."
  
  They have had steady growth in gross profit and manufacturing capacity. It has good
  prospects and is well positioned. If you have a longer time frame, I think it has merit.
  I have not done a detailed analysis, but they have a decent balance sheet.
  
  It's not my cup of tea, but I think it is a decent spec play in the steel industry. more
