A: I do hold it as a spec. It has roughly 8% short interest, so any good news the stock will
go ballistic. Also its on GS conviction buy list. Use a stop, hold at your own risk. more - Post your own answer

A: It depends on why you own it. Is this a trade that you bought in anticipation of earnings?
If so then you should keep for the event. If you bought it a while ago and have a nice
profit (I am in that exact position) then you have to ask yourself what your target price
is for RIMM. If it is higher then you want to continue to hold. You may want to take half
of the position off the table to lock in profits and avoid earnings volatility.
