A: bounces are needed but i wouldnt say "the shorts have well overstayed their trade
here." the primary trend is what you hold onto. in bull markets you can hold longs
through little dips. in bears, flip it. thus, bear markets get oversold and stay there for
longer than one would like, and bulls are overbought and stay that way.
a pop next week? sure, it can happen, i wouldnt be shocked to see 1300, hell, 1320 is
possible. but i would not get more than 70% long more - Post your own answer

a 84% gain from todays price ,i would love too buy them here if he pays me $8.5

A: These guys make mistakes all the time like the rest of us. Everyone hates the big 3 as an
investment but who could have forseen the degree which oil is having on people's
driving(the severe truck demand destruction)?
Everyone thought the consumer would roll over a while longer instead of drawing a line in
the sand. Oil is going to have to fight and claw for every dollar going forward.
Eddie is another great example. His investments choices and what's he's doing with
Sears(nothing) is just mindboggling. more - Post your own answer

A: I do question analysts' calls upgrading the steel sector though...true that steel prices
are going up, but so are input costs. also, steel VOLUME is down...which is why they had
to raise prices just to make the same $$. I have just a few NUE calls. but cautiously
neutral on steel. more - Post your own answer
