Credit Crunch Farmers and food supply. Is this a way? You are awash in money
that you need to put to work. Now is the time to make some decisions. Will you
put it into wall street or will you plan ahead and do something for your
country? What I mean by this is now is the time the Farmers of this great nation
need you. They need help to get the harvest to market. The market needs to get
it to the city and the farmer needs money to plant next years crop. No one is
talking about it. Do you want China or Russia to lend to the farmer here with a
clause for the food to be shipped to China or Russia? I for one don't. Do some
research on this and get you money in gear and put your money to work. Talk to
the Farmers and to in between people. The central bank and the IMF have failed
America again and the Farmer needs your help now. Who cares if you have a house
if you have to pay 6.00 dollars for a loaf of bread? What else will you have to
give up. I can live off peanut butter sandwiches now but can I a year from
now?Go Fly and Get to Work and do your homework. If this happens and farmers
don't get help how would I play this if the food goes overseas? -

- Q:
I think I will short on Monday. I wish I had the news before the market closed
today. Thank you all the news agency's you have done a real good job keeping the
public informed. Talk me down. Why the U.S. Economy Is Going to Get Much Worse
The derivatives market is worth more than $516 trillion, roughly 10 times the
value of the entire world's output: it's been called the "ticking time-bomb."
Unsurprisingly, this news comes to us from Britain; the U.S. media is not going
to mention it.

- Q:
Should I just short the entire market? Excuse my little rant before the article
on China. I just get scared sometimes. Who will decide the One world currency
and the now monetary system is a very bad idea? Who gave them this Idea? The
thieving World Wide Government's IMF's and central banks, that's who. The G20
through the World Bank did. They did such a good job of outing themselves it was
fantastic to watch. Not in a million years could we have exposed them all and
because of their greed and arrogance they did it to themselves. As a United
States citizen am deeply ashamed of the way our banking system and government
has acted from the time it was set up. I am also sorry for the way the rest of
the world's banking system's has acted from the time it was set up. At the same
time I am placing a bet on the other country's to pull out first and see that
Ron Paul and many other people world wide were right. I will even bet that the
Pope will come out and say the banking system we have now is not fair to the
poor and that the Pope calls for a whole new monetary system. I bet that he will
call for each country to open up the press to talk freely and openly about the
way we want to reform our banking system. I bet he will call upon each country
to form their own currency backed by gold or silver. After all he has a world
wide responsibly to the people of his church to denounce all people who
steal, bear false witness, covet his neighbors property, and any of the 10
commandants that they have broken.I just wonder if it will be Russia or China or
some other country. The reason I am having these thoughts are because.
U.S. has plundered world wealth with dollar: China paper
BEIJING (Reuters) - The United States has plundered global wealth by exploiting
the dollar's dominance, and the world urgently needs other currencies to take
its place, a leading Chinese state newspaper said on Friday.
The front-page commentary in the overseas edition of the People's Daily said
that Asian and European countries should banish the U.S. dollar from their
direct trade relations for a start, relying only on their own currencies.
A meeting between Asian and European leaders, starting on Friday in Beijing,
presented the perfect opportunity to begin building a new international
financial order, the newspaper said.
The People's Daily is the official newspaper of China's ruling Communist Party.
The Chinese-language overseas edition is a small circulation offshoot of the
main paper.
Its pronouncements do not necessarily directly voice leadership views. But the
commentary, as well as recent comments, amount to a growing chorus of Chinese
disdain for Washington's economic policies and global financial dominance in the
wake of the credit crisis.
"The grim reality has led people, amidst the panic, to realize that the United
States has used the U.S. dollar's hegemony to plunder the world's wealth," said
the commentator, Shi Jianxun, a professor at Shanghai's Tongji University.
Shi, who has before been strident in his criticism of the U.S., said other
countries had lost vast amounts of wealth because of the financial crisis, while
Washington's sole concern had been protecting its own interests.
"The U.S. dollar is losing people's confidence. The world, acting democratically
and lawfully through a global financial organization, urgently needs to change
the international monetary system based on U.S. global economic leadership and
U.S. dollar dominance," he wrote.
Shi suggested that all trade between Europe and Asia should be settled in euros,
pounds, yen and yuan, though he did not explain how the Chinese currency could
play such a role since it is not convertible on the capital account.
A two-day Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) of 27 EU member states and 16 Asian
countries was set to open on Friday. Though few analysts expect much in the way
of concrete agreements, Shi said it could prove momentous.
"How can Europe and Asia grasp each other's hands and together confront the
once-in-a-century global financial crisis sparked by the U.S.; how can they
construct a new equitable and safe international financial order?" he said.
"The world is waiting for this Asian-European meeting to achieve big results in
financial cooperation."
(Reporting by Simon Rabinovitch; Editing by Ken Wills) Yep I do believe in
the good in people to do the right thing world wide.I believe that good will
come out of this mess.May god (who has 76 names ) bless the world during this
trying time. -

A: Sorry timer went off. What I was thinking was what if these hedge funds are in other
country's like say mexico or china or russia just pick a country that does not have the
tight controls that we have. The markets are so interconnected right now that is why I was
asking. I don't know how tight the controls are in other country's are. more - Post your own answer

No question just a challenge. Who on Wall Street is going to use their 10%
weekly tithe to buy lobster for the town that is supporting the fisherman and
ship it to your local area and treat your neighbors to a lobster bake? Or how
about helping a farmer plant a future field this week? Just a thought. -

A: Farmers don't need any MORE of my money. The vote-buying, pandering, extortion specialist
mofia members known as the U.S. Congress already took care of them last may.
Billions...just cause it's tradition, not cause they need it. You could be a
multi-millionaire farmer making a million per year, and there are some....making a killing
right now, who still get a check in the mail. The farm lobby is unamerican. So are the
thieves who pander to them. This ain't the depression or the dust bowl, yet they think
they are ENTITLED to it for some reason, and have the career politicians by the short
hairs. Keep the checks coming in, or we'll give our campaign contributions to the
challenger and vote your butt out. It's organized crime, pure and simple. more - Post your own answer

Does anyone know what commercial real estate etf I can short. The reason I ask
this is 2 fold. One in my hometown paper in San Antonio 2days ago I came across
an article about AIG. In that article when they were on their hunting trip they
were bragging how the recession would last well into 2011. That made me mad.
Then I thought about how the sec doesn't require mark to market on commercial
real estate. That was a big loss there so there is still no real transparency
again. How will this affect banks like Chase? Also when I was eating at my hole
in the wall restaurant even the bus boy was living below his means. He was so
proud that he has paid of all of his debt and now has 300.00 in a savings
account. That is darn hard on min. wage let me tell you. So, what etf's can I
short? -

A: You might look at SRS. It's an ultrashort real estate ETF.
"Fund Strategy
SRS Inception Date 01/30/2007
The investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, which correspond
to twice the inverse of the daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Real Estate index. The
fund normally invests 80% of assets in financial instruments with economic characteristics
that should be inverse to those of the index. It may employ leveraged investment
techniques in seeking its investment objective. The fund is nondiversified." more - Post your own answer

States and China have stoped filling up their strigic oil reserves which I think
is dumb because they were buying it at 140.00 a barrel. Now they can buy it at a
much better price and save the American People a ton of money. But do the
dummies? Noooooo........ they don't. They are just as bad as the CEO's at Aig.
