• Q: i need some advice. I just bought a 1000 C @ 3.05/ shares, 3000 EGY @ 3.60
  /share and 1000 ETFC @ 1.25/shares hoping to sell C on earnings news, EGY in a
  couple of months and ETFC is my lottery ticket.
  Am i doing the right thing here or should i sell immediately? I would appreciate

• A: I think your time horizon is unrealistic. Basically if I understand you correctly, you
  bought C as a trade. Your catalyst is anticipated earnings. That is a tough trade. I
  actually think C will be okay, but earnings may already be baked into the price.

  Unfortunately, the current money that is coming into the market is ignoring plays in safer
  industries whose stocks have for the most part have held up during the downturn. They are
  buying companies that has been sold off 80% or greater.
  
  When this phenomenon subsides and the general market stalls. I think the market will
  likely rotate again and the companies with strong earnings will outperform. more

• Q: hi, back in october i bought 1100 shares of ETF USO @ $47. I am treating this as
  a long term investment yet i dont think am utilizing the potential of this ETF.
  i am really confused after reading some reports claiming that USO is another
  Ponzi-scheme that will keep operational as long as new traders keep investing in
  it! shall i keep holding it for long term or lose more than 17$/share and sell
