A: When options near expiration, people can pick up options for practically nothing. Anyone
buying the four cent contracts are playing a lottery ticket that something big happens in
the next few days. more - Post your own answer

A: $675-700, Could be higher based on the breadth of the hoped for year end rally.
Look for a sharp pullback in Jan. or Feb. Will retest the '07 lows. Will present an
excellent buying opportunity. Especially those using a deep in the money option stategy. more - Post your own answer

AAPL or Apple is a strong company, strong stock, we all know that. And as the
earnings seem to get better, it just supports the theory that we'll see AAPL
hitting 200 next year. But what about this earnings, AAPL hyped too much, I
think. PEG of around 2.00, people who held the stock from 80 might just want to
sell it out right here. Therefore I believe AAPL will plummet on earnings, even
if it is a blow out quarter, unless they raise their own guidance for Q4 and for
the year. What do you guys think, Buy november puts at around 160? -

- Q:
Hey Guys, I was wondering.. when you are selling a call option for example of
EMC or INTC, or any other stock really: You have 2 options right? 1. To
excersize it. 2. to sell it based on premium. How do i sell it based on premium?
Do I still send in an order of Sell to close? what else should I do for it not
to excersize the option but sell it based on premium? Or does etrade just find
out which one is more beneficial automatically?
Thx guys -

A: 1.) Don't wait until expiration.
2.) E-Trade should have sent you a booklet that discusses their options policies,
specifically at what time they require you to let them know what to do with expiring
options, what their policy is in terms of automatically filling in the money options (my
firm fills anything in the money by a nickle, provided I have the cash in the account to
cover the purchase), etc.
3.) Sounds like in this case you want to sell it for the premium. If you just bought a
call (as opposed to writing a call, but it really sounds like you just bought an option
assuming the security was going to go up) you entered it as "Buy to Open", so to get out
of it you need to enter a "Sell to Close" order for the number of contracts you want to
close out. You can use limits, pay attention to the difference between the bid and ask
prices because sometimes they can be .20, .30 cents.
4.) If you're up, nice trade. more - Post your own answer
- Q:
Haven't we reached our 10% Target or Correction? Shouldn't the markets be
changing direction at this time, like they always have in the past corrections?
Or is this not a correction but the beginning of a long bear market? Dow Jones
went down from above 1450 to 12700, that's basically 9-10%. -

New Question: Cramer! Love your show and your books! I've got my own 20 K
portfolio and what I'm wondering is when will you come visit DUKE sometime,
you've been in so many places, texas and such, you should come visit the blue
devils some time!???
Good Luck, I'm in on NYX, I feel like there's going to be a lot of upward
momentum as people realize how this volatility is going to translate into
revenue. I'm in on EMC and got myself diversified in different tech sectors! -
