A: Hi Ed~but my thinking is that "gov'ts would try to get back any treasure found in the
future, if the verdict stands" is that "IF the verdict stands, there will be NO
treasure found in the future" and part of a treasure is better than no treasure so it
seems to me that it would behoove the gov'ts to split the finds. It only seems fair and
equitable considering that they had no treasure before, they are getting FREE gold silver
and other items, they get these wonderful treasures that could bring tourists to their
country and could have "national treasures" and it would be stupid to pass that
up by demanding the FULL find. I also think OMEX would not have invested
money/time/effort into the dive if they thought they had a good chance of losing the loot.
With a worldwide recession, seems to me like any country worth its salt would be happpy
to have OMEX there digging up lost fortunes for them.

- Q:
What are "bond vigilantes?" and will these people affect my bond funds? I have
Pimco bonds, PFN (Pimco Floating Rate fund) and Pimco High Income (PHK). I sold
2/3 of PFN and 1/3 of PHK, and since that time, they are running away.
Should I buy them back or wait for a pull back?
Thanks,

A: The "bond vigilantes" are certain traders in treasury bonds. They shouldn't
really affect corporate bonds that much. Both bond funds should still have decent upside
left since both dabble in junk bonds. Junk bonds appreciate significantly near the
beginning of a recovery/end of a recession. Also on a side note, you can directly invest
in Exchange Traded Debt Securities for individual companies as well. They trade just like
equities on the NYSE or AMEX. Normally, they are issued in $25 increments. ETDS's give
you the benefit of investing/trading individual companies instead of a basket. Their
downside is there are a limited number issues (200 or so). Hope this helps. Message me
if you want more info on ETDS's. more - Post your own answer

I am going to start a new thread I hope you will all participate in. It's
called The Pickrs Plan, a take off on Boone's plan. You can write about how you
will get back all your money when the market is moving again. I will put it in
the forums. You can be funny, silly or serious.
Thanks!

A: This week just plain sucked and like most I'm exhausted too. Thinking about doing a little
fishing this weekend to free my mind. I do not think we are done on the downside yet
either, but I believe we are close. Have a great weekend.

A: I've been meaning to research this company for awhile now. Out of all the wind plays, it
is the only one that meets much of my criteria.
