• Q: GOLD PRICES
  Thoughts on how high- gold price will go. I own some "gold miners" (EGO
  and AUY) and am wondeering how "far up" they will go. Have heard prices from -
  $1300.00 to $5000.00+ per ounce. I need some realistic thoughts on this -
  hopefully a concensus. I am a new investor,and am finding that most stock
  forcasters are so busy trying to "sell a newsletter" they just say whatever they
  think will sell.

• A: realistically? your forcast and mine is no better than analysts for a basic and
  fundamental reason;
  
  none of us can predict the future with much accuracy. its as simple as that
  
  youre in with the trend, so stick with it. if you bought AUY at 9, put youre stop at 9.1
  and give it plenty of room to breath. it probably shouldnt break much below 10 if in fact
  its ready to go higher.

• A: IBD Loves it. Almost best of breed. fundies are sporatic and looking week into the
  begining of 09. I would not get it it yet. Best to do more homework like listening to
  the conferece call of June. Analyst coverage have it 3 buys, 1 OP and 1 hold. Do some
  home work on STEC as a comparative. If you are looking for some LT 3G play get in INTC.

• A: First time I ever looked at the equity. It seems healthy and an interesting play for
  Platinum. 5 Year earnings are a little flat, but debt is manageable and cash flows are
  healthy. IBD does not think to highly because of the sector and EPS of late. Anglo went
  through a recent Chairman change which always scares institutional investors and there is
  some angst about a takeover from xstrata. Keep in mind the ginger union issues is Sud
  Africa as well. ROE is middle of the road at 16. PE is a third of the industry implying
  cheap. Long term, this has the makings of a 20-22 equity. more
