• Q: My bet is GS will guy up their own stock right now and report blow out earnings
  and make all the money they need to buy off the sec! They knock it down not out.
  GS isn't going anywhere they are and will be one of the best. When you think
  you should be selling you shouldn't panic and keep an eye on this one. I sold
  my position early after it dropped went back and picked up some call options in
  case the earnings run the stock up.

• A: i wouldn't worry about nyx...if anything jim can provide opportunities to buy at a lower
  price that you might not have gotten in case you, i don't know....prefer paying less on
  the way up instead of paying up on the way up....lol. more

• Q: My theory is the vix is way low due for bounce, pump prices (gas) are getting to
  high again $3.00 here makes everything more expensive, to many people calling a
  bull market, go away in may coming up, and every chart of good stocks went
  straight up.... All I am saying is watch out for some serious correction...

• A: DBT, I wouldn't depend on the VIX as an indicator. Just a friendly suggestion. I did my
  own research on it and I found that it is a lousy indicator of future equity movements.
  Lazlo Birinyi's firm did a study recently as well(I'm sure it was much more thorough than
  mine!) and came to the same conclusion. Most of the time it is simply a mirror image of
  current market conditions, hour to hour, minute to minute. It is not unusual for it to go
  to low levels(12 or even lower) and stay there for extended periods. more
