- Q:
Does anyone here have any experience trading currencies? If so, perhaps we
could meet up in the forum? I'd like to ask a few questions to improve my
understanding of that asset class. -

- Q:
Anyone know why Cramer says, in his new book, to use two accounts for the
long-call, short-common strategy? Couldn't you just use one account to
accomplish the task? -

A: He answered this question last night - He said that if they were in the same account the
trade would be automatically netted out at expiration, he said "you can't stop yourself".
He wants to be able to keep the short open and roll the call over. Apparently this
requires two accounts. I'm just getting a grasp on this trade, does anyone know what
circumstances would call for you to do this (leave the short open and roll the trade
over)? Thanks, first time poster more - Post your own answer
- Q:
A local radio talk show host in Atlanta put together a mailing list service to
help people know when to contact their congressmen and representatives about key
issues. This guy is very much a capitalist, a no-nonsense kind of person, and
has been on the boards of a number of companies.
Check this link out if you are interested in doing something like that. The
timing of it seems excellent given that our leaders don't have clue.

A: Cain is trying to organize 100,000 people in each of the 435 districts. Seems like
100,000 people spamming the inboxes should make a pretty clear statement.

- Q:
Why do companies think it's ok to raise prices during such a severe economic
downturn? For example, my cable bill is up $10/mo, I just found out my water
bill is going to get more expensive, and I heard yesterday the county is going
to raise the millage rate, so property taxes will be rising. Car insurance in
my state went up this year for everyone.
It just seems counter-intuitive to me. Seems like they should be catering to
customers...so they can, uh, keep them.
All this while so many people are losing their jobs, so much wealth evaporated
from retirement accounts, etc. -

- Q:
"Cramer suggests loooking at companies that are trading around their cash on
hand..."
Can someone please tell me what that means? What metrics in Yahoo am I looking
for? Is this market cap -vs- total cash or total cash per share -vs- share
price? Or something else? -

A: cash per share. rather than using P/E its P/C. your brokerage should provide the info. on
yahoo, go to balance sheet and look under total cash per share. but also look at the debt.
if you just focus on cash per share, GM was a buy at $36.
how'd that work out? more - Resolved

New Question: Anyone has an opinion on Lab Corp (LH) after it's recent selloff
and into earnings on the 24th? There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there
on this company and there isn't much meat in the 10Qs either. -
