Any reason why PM took such a beating today? Seemed overly punished in relation
to the market. 5.5% divvy looks good though...
Long PM. -

A: IMHO this is the last 1/3 of a Bear Market where even the Defense Names sell off and
nothing is safe. Look at JNJ in the 1974 Bear Market...all the pros say this is the worst
market they have ever seen...and I am finding so many rules are changed for this game
during this period...PM gets sold off with everything else cuz people are cashing in their
Mutual Funds or 401's and going to fixed cashed positions. The fun part is that it can
teach you a heck of a lot about how the market moves..and I think we are in a market which
any other market in the future will look like a cake walk...trick is to stay green...yum
green frosting. Nymph more - Post your own answer
- Q:
Wash sale clarification. Does it just refer to the same stock or like stocks as
well? For example, if I sell T at a loss can I buy VZ? Sell PM and buy MO?
Thanks! -

Anyone else been getting frustrated at the pre- and post-market action? It
seems like many of the gains/losses are made before the market even opens
leaving the little guy stuck. IMHO, the SEC should put an end to that as well. -
