Hi Jim,
I enjoy the work that you do but I must take issue with something that you said.
You claimed Steve Ballmer does not belong on the "Wall of Shame" because he was
dealt a bad hand. Dealt a bad hand? He was given the keys to the castle as
far as I can tell. The company is a monopoly. You bash Patricia Russo and
Kerry Killinger, and rightly so, but they operate in ridiculously competitive
markets. Ballmer has repeatedly destroyed shareholder value, for example he
bought back billions in stock at much higher levels and is now issuing stock at
14x earnings to buy a wasting asset. Do you want to see what having bad hand
dealt to you is? Look at Rick Wagoner or Vikram Pandit, those are bad hands.
Steve Ballmer has been an outright disaster and deserves to be fired and on the
"Wall of Shame". I know he is your friend, but you're not here to make friends
right? The market isn't even giving MSFT a market multiple because this clown
is running the company so poorly, Ballmer must go. -

Jim, James, or anyone,
What do you think of a long PBR-a/short PBR trade here? There is a 21%
difference between the two, a price difference that is unjustified by the
fundamentals. -
