I know it's been said already but what a turnaround! I hope everyone was able
to get in this morning. With the weekend coming it would probably be wise to
lock in some of this bounce. -

Any thoughts here on NAT?? Now yielding over 20% and the CEO just said that they
will maintain the same level of their next dividend. I know it's a volitale
stock but, 20% makes me like it for a small spec play. I have swing traded in
and out of it before quite successfully. -

With 25-35 years to retirement, I decided today to take a bunch of my gains in
trading money and REALLY dedicate an account to some long term stocks apart from
my 401k and CGM IRA. Trading comes with it a whirlwind of experiences but I
want at least one portfolio that I barely trade.... Said all that to say in the
current climate of the world is CL or PG a better choice? -

A: risk reward is your number 1 thing..look at PG trading all time up back where it was
before..well let me put it to you this way pull up a 5 year chart..lets check the long
term longevity of the stock by doing a regression test..you see in the 3 year chart both
of them have a strong trend upward..while CL has a large down (sideways) period on the 10
year chart..
dividend yields are about the same
Just know PG is effected by costs more than CL..but i think the reward for PG is much
better..but wait for it to come down. more - Post your own answer

Sometime last week the Pickr site was inundated with haters and I took a step
back at the end of the week. Ya know what there ARE a number of great market
minds on this site. I mean.. I feel that my mind is gifted in some ways...
after all music is my profession, and that does take a certain amount of
creativity. But there are minds on this site that truly have some great market
insight. Just a quick shout out to some gifted minds that have helped me make
some money in the past year. The pie guy Goff (where ever you are) Jewald,
Peter, Kabirm, chris, mike, countless others. -

Yesterday, it was Bernie Mac and now today Isaac Hayes dies. We can go for a
triple and have the market slide downward tomorrow on a rise in oil. Deaths come
in threes?? I'm gonna watch reruns of the Bernie Mac show, the Shaft opening
credits, and all the Chef-centric South Park shows I can get my hands on. -

I can stay in the game. Down 20% on some commodity stock??? Get short or put
on the Kings of Comedy and laugh it off. -

Is now the time to look at the refiners?? The price of crude has corrected.
Are HES and VLO margins able to benefit from this price? I think so... But how
long will oil be at these levels?? Cramer always says he remembered a 20 year
bear market for refiners but I think it may be time. -

A: These refiners are too hard, they seem to only go up on squeezes. Oil is up they go down,
oil is down they go down on most days. Someday they will be good to own again. I would
wait for a strong catalyst, and a strong substainable move upward. They have plenty of
upside once they start moving, don't be afraid to miss the first 10% of the move, you will
still catch most of it. Plus by waiting, it keeps you from having to sit on the positions
for months on end, if they don't move. more - Post your own answer
