A: One of the most interesting things about Apple: it is a very small percentage of leaders
in one bullish stock market, to be a leader in the next bullish market. I've read
statistics on that, and the chances are very low. But here is a stock that was a leader
prior to the bear lows of March that continues to be a leader. more - Post your own answer

A: RTK caught the attention of people based on its really strong operating quarter from its
fertilizer operation which makes sense because its feedstock costs must be near decade
lows given the very low price of natural gas. Now it is likely any news construed as a
positive will catapult the stock more - Post your own answer

A: MSCI Brazil Index: Island top
There is a clear island top on the daily chart of the EWZ. While there is no specific
measuring objective to derive from the pattern, its implications are very bearish. Support
levels to watch as potential downside objectives are at $56.90, $55.55, $54.55, $53.17.
Resistance is at $58.77. more - Post your own answer

- Q:
A gap down market and someone much smarter than me suggested removing your stops
because chances are they will immediately get hit when the market opens, that
there will be a gap down but there's a reason for this - Japan.
Don't be the first one out to bottom-fish; wait for confirmation that the market
has stabilized.
The expectation is that the market can move higher after the correction and it
was needed.
It was getting harder and harder to buy on tiptoe. -

RIMM. Does the exchange rate play into this and if so how could it effect
earnings? Thinking this is a nice entry as Piper Jaffray affirmed good sales
July 27 and the downgrade was only about valuation. And there's a bunch of time
until earnings for upside (well, downside too - that seems unlikely because the
premise of smart phones is rather compelling.)
Thanks. -
