I'm in no shape or form calling a bottom, but 2 bullish things just to watch and
keep in mind. Vix spiked 4 points today and is around 34, the panic is starting
to pick up, and not a single talking head, since I have been watching atleast,
has tried to call a bottom -

Things to keep in mind. Bottoms occur on washouts, we are nowhere near that
point except on energy and related industries. I have never seen a bottom form
when everyone in the world is calling for one. You will probably have alittle
upside off of leh monday and the market will probably be sideways, till the next
shoe drops. Full Disclosure: I have a small position in the skf, but I am 70% in
cash waiting for a true bottom. -

A: Forget calling bottoms & look for stable ranges to play in. Also buy some options.
Missed out on the sales while I was away. Repairing what I left on the table. I see some
attractive prices & know hedgies are getting the call & they're dumping. I think they're
getting carried away. more - Post your own answer

- Q:
I would normally say add to it, but this market is so manipulated, the gov won't
let the market fail. I am thinking about taking a loss in my SKF, nomatter how
bearish things get, paulson will always get his goldman buddies to buy the
market. I think it's funny that china lets their markets fail, our gov bails
ours out, and turns their head when the manipulation is bullish, and China are
the ones called the communist. -

I love the term Free Market, it just doesn't exist in this country. Yesterday
afternoon's bounce was nothing more than a prop job, to keep the market from
tanking, and with a posible run of the bank on LEH today, the market should be
down alot more. Plus with the uptick rule being reinstated, it looks like the
government will do anything to keep their rich buddies happy. I bet Bill Gross
enjoyed the bailout. -

Don't let Paulson and the talking heads fool you. This move was 100% politically
motivated. As once again the good ol government will bailout the irresponsible.
On a side note, I think Credit Card debt should be secured, so people will think
twice about maxing out card after card, knowing they can't every pay them back. -

Another Day, Another fake LEH rumor. Instutions are using fake rumors to get
bailed out of bad trades, and will continue to do so, because it seems there are
no consequences. -

Looking at Royl for a quick trade, thinking oil is way overdone to the downside,
with people unloading there prehurricane oil trades. Also any thoughts on XIN, I
haven't followed it in a few months, and just saw that they announced results,
that were not very good, possible entry point. -
