Does anyone here have any experience trading currencies? If so, perhaps we
could meet up in the forum? I'd like to ask a few questions to improve my
understanding of that asset class. -

Cramer touted NAT as paying out an average yield of 15.1% per year for the last
eleven years in his latest book, "How to Get Even". Where is he coming from
with this stock which currently yields only little over 1% ? What am I missing.

A: NAT announced on Nov 9 that it was cutting its quarterly dividend from 50 cents in the 2nd
quarter to 10 cents in the 3rd quarter. NAT tend to pay an irregular dividend. That is to
say it is quite variable. more - Post your own answer

A: Stockpickr Staff #2 tell us something about yourself?....I missed the question
earlier...Europe had economic data to digest and the global growth plays were the play
into the open..but fixing hit the markets and eur/usd sold off...not wild about canada gdp
data today...and the Semi Conductor Sale numbers today were BTE, but if you read the
report it appears Oct is their strongest month and really only USA had positive yoy
still...which doesn't support this rally in Tech so much at all....Asia being up supported
the fact that we were not going to have a major down day, but once eur/usd couldn't take
out 1.5070 we knew it wouldn't rally much at all even with a 5 Trin reading. more - Post your own answer

coming in the new year. What stocks would be on your short list to pick up? I am
looking at MON and AGU in ag. area, EMC and JNPR in tech, EMR or FLS in Ind. and
STD or GS in finance. -

A: TBT would be my favorite pick once THIS party's over.
But the amount of profit made from shorting depends on whether or not a trend becomes a
bubble. Today's "risk trade" of shorting the dollar and longing commodities
(with nearly all equity prices behaving like commodity prices) means that nearly any stock
would work. The more a stock rises during the risk trade, the more it falls when the risk
trade ends. But WHEN? Nobody can know. Maybe this year. Maybe next year. Maybe a bubble
burst. Maybe just a whimper. For now, i'd just ride the trend (or bubble, as it MAY be)
with tight stops, until it's done. more - Post your own answer

Stockpickrs: if you get 6%/mo trading regular ol' ETFs with some basic technical
analysis, would you consider that over Cramerican style stock analysis? Do you
consider 6%/mo competitive relative to what you can realistically expect from
trading stocks? -
