- Q:
If a stock goes to zero, what happens? Can it go back up in the session, or are
the shareholders SOL?
Thanks!

- Q:
Why does after-hours and pre-market trading exist? I absolutely hate it. It is
simply not fair that stop-limit orders do not work in after/pre market trading.
I lost a couple grand this morning because a stock got hit hard in pre-market
trading and my stop order was of course ignored. I know I'm ranting, but this
infuriates me. I live out west and can't get up at 4am every day to try to make
sure I don't lose a ton of money in pre market trading. -

A: Before you go to bed make sure there is no killer news out there for you ticker...if there
is, set the clock. But there is a heck of a lot panic selling in pre and post market...so
sometimes you will do better sleeping in and looking at all the damage after amature hour
is over. more - Post your own answer

A: The same guy that did "Endgame"... some fringe paranoid ideas. I don't doubt
that there will be another world power hungry dictator...or group. I think that it is
very unlikely to happen in this country. Our military would be very hard to be used for
anything that wasn't freedom based...those guys are just not programmed that way. Plus,
we as civilians are armed to the hilt. Anyone that would attempt to go to military rule
would get a hell of a civil war. As in any conspiracy theories...there are too many
moving parts, too many people that would need to be involved for it to really work. Good
cinema...but probably nothing to lose sleep over. more - Post your own answer

A: Four tech stocks each under $5 are:
ClickSoftware Technologies (CKSW)
ClearOne Communications (CLRO)
Innodata Isogen (INOD)
Pervasive Software (PVSW)
A venture capital firm, if you are so inclined, is Rand Capital (RAND).
In the energy sector, there is Pyramid Oil (PDO).
In security services, Command Security (MOC).
In consumer staples (food products), Golden Enterprises (GLDC).
In consumer discretionary (assuming their FDA-approved female condoms are discretionary
products and not staple needs), Female Health Co. (FHC).
All the above are trading for less than $5 and each currently rates a “buy”
recommendation from TheStreet.com Ratings. more - Post your own answer

A: I think your time horizon is unrealistic. Basically if I understand you correctly, you
bought C as a trade. Your catalyst is anticipated earnings. That is a tough trade. I
actually think C will be okay, but earnings may already be baked into the price.
EGY is actually a decent value play in the oil more - Post your own answer

Stockpickrs,
Do you all "average down" on your long positions? I'm down on two good stocks
(T in at 39 and CHK in at 59) and was thinking of buying some more, but as a
newbie I've been a little gun shy. Thanks in advance for your help. -

A: depends on the stock. not commodities. these are volitile plays that need to be traded on
trendlines, moving averages etc. one they break, you get going and wait for a new trend to
