Here we have remarkably profitable businesses that draw little or no competition and are ignored by investors. These stocks all have a long enough history that one can gauge their performance in past recessions. This performance is impressive, considering the rather cyclical nature of some of these businesses. Besides looking for a boring business, I like a high ROE, reasonable p/e, manageable debt, dividends and/or good FCF.Note: This portfolio shares some picks with my Bear Market portfolio.
